Most 4" can fixtures are a fixed size, so there are no adjustments to be made. This ring slides over the top of the MusicLites unit and creates a firm fit for 4" cans.
In some instances, the existing trim ring could hinder you screwing in your MusicLites unit. If not, you should be able to simply screw it in as shown. If you do havehindrance, you may want to remove theexistingtrim ring and replace it with a MusicLites 4" trim ring accessory.
