There is no process for certifying Bose installers. The only exception is for pro systems and special applications — but those do NOT apply to home theater and consumer products. So the quality of your installation will depend on the experience of the people setting up your equipment.

Rob Richards: I would recommend using a Bose SA-3 Amplifier, Bose RC-18 Remote Control and either the Bose 151 or 251 Environmental Speakers. By using the Bose Link configuration and Bose components you will get the best performance, consistent sound and maximum control. Plus the pieces will look the same so it will truly be and look like a unified system. Of course if you have questions you can call in and talk with one of our Bose specialists. I have a Lifestyle V10 system. I want to wire in two outdoor speakers from this system. I have the wire pre ran to the same area as my main system. What is the best way to connect the second set of speaker to my system?

I have a Bose 321 GSX Series III and would like to expand the sound into a second room. Can this be done using Bose Link, Amp SA-3 and a pair of speakers?

Can you confirm that the “home theater room” in your Bose whole house example diagram uses three(3) Bose Link “A” cables? Two from the media center to the dual source / destination plate and one from the single source / destination plate to the base module?
