This is a great post! It's a good thing that I came across this because I just transferred to a new condominium and I wanted to have a full renovation. Your tips about good lighting is something that I would keep in mind. As you have said, "Poor lighting has been shown to affect mood, behavior, and health in ways both subtle and overt. Our eyes obviously, take the brunt of poor lighting, due in large part to the fact that we all spend a substantial amount of time in front of self-illuminated television and computer screens." I would not want to live in a gloomy place, I want something happy, vibrant and new. I'm starting a new life so it would be good if I am surrounded with good vibes. Thank you for posting this!
