Bose® 201® Series V Direct/Reflecting® Speaker System Specifications

  • Compatible with Bose® stereo and center speakers to create a seamless five-speaker home theater experience.
  • Bose® Stereo Everywhere® speaker performance uses a Stereo Targeting® tweeter to help re-create rich stereo almost anywhere in the room, instead of in one small “sweet spot” as with conventional speakers.
  • Spatial Dispersion™ lens provides smoother high frequency response from the tweeter and allows for a wider distribution of sound.
  • Unique port geometry reduces turbulence for smoother, cleaner bass for movies or music, especially at high volumes.
  • Magnetic fluid-cooled tweeter enables higher power handling capability and increased reliability.
  • Driver complement: one 61/2" (16.5 cm) woofer, one high-sensitivity 2" (5.1 cm) tweeter.

I have a Sherwood component receiver which just has the the red and black push clips that you put bare speaker wire in. How do these speakers connect to the receiver?

The Bose® 201® Series V Direct/Reflecting® Speakers are significantly different from conventional speakers, so be sure to read the provided Owner's Manual (attached in the details tab of this product's web page). It will help you set up the speakers properly, for the greatest enjoyment. The speakers connect by speaker wire and to choose the appropriate gauge (thickness) please refer to the Manual, it also shows a diagram of how to make the terminal connections step by step.
