Performance
Produces audio quality for your rear surround speakers that’s equivalent to a wired Bose® 5.1-channel home theater system. Backward-compatible to work with all 5.1-channel Bose® Lifestyle® or Acoustimass® home entertainment systems.

Simplicity
Simplifies installation of the rear surround speakers by eliminating the need to run wires from the front of the main listening room to the speakers in the back of the room. No more drilling or running wires in walls or under floors to your rear speakers.

Product Review: Initially, I was concerned with the 30-foot limitation (my application is 33 feet). Product Review: No noticeable sound degradation for typical home theater uses. just remember, if it's not already clear to you, this just allows you to send a wireless signal from the speaker base unit to the rear of the room. You still need to run speaker wire from the wireless receiver to the rear speakers. Seems evident, but I've had a few people confused on it.

No, the Bose® SL2 Wireless Surround Link may not be used with the Bose GS 3-2-1 II System. It is compatible with Lifestyle® V35, V25, T20 and 48 systems, older 5.1 CD and DVD-based Lifestyle® systems, and all 5.1-channel Acoustimass systems. The SL2 is a 2.1 system.
