These brackets allow both horizontal and vertical adjustment of speakers, so you can direct the sound where you like.

I bought this UB-20 mount to compliment the surround sound features of my Bose unit after wall mounting a 55" flat screen TV. I wanted to mount the center speaker on the wall right under the TV. The mount was installed in 5 minutes using the included template to mark the drill holes and install the screws. The mount does a great job of hiding the speaker wires and the whole job looks professional. I used 4 other similar mounts to mount the rest of the speakers a few years ago and they also look great and have held up well. No issues or complaints with this quality Bose product. I highly recommend this product and this distributor.

The distance is pretty dependent on each individual setup. To provide the best sound quality entertainment, YEW evaluates the height of your ceiling, furniture arrangement, room dimensions, etc. A good peace-of-mind rule is 4-6 feet behind or beside the listener, but have the sound traveling towards direction of the listener.
