BIg things can come in small packages.  Bookshelf speakers will fill a room with pleasing sound without the big obtrusive look of a tower.  For a home where floor space is limitedy, bookshelf speakers are the answer.  Getting the speakers up off the floor, possibly hanging on the wall out of the way, or even setting on a shelf,  will please anyone that is concerned about the way their room looks.
