Thanks to Made for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad certification, Apple devices are easily connected with the included USB/video cable - so there's no need to buy a separate dock to store all your music, videos, streaming content. Plus, these devices will charge automatically when connected, its the ultimate plug-and-play integration with your home theater. If you get a call, the iPhone will mute movies and music.

With AirPlay®, you can stream music from iTunes to the VSX-60 and play it through your home theater system without docks or cables.

The VSX-60 provides Dolby Prologic IIz processing so that you may have the option of adding two more front speakers to be placed above the left and right main speakers. This features adds a "vertical" or overhead element to the surround sound experience. The VSX-60 has two of each both digital and coaxial inputs, two subwoofer outputs and one additional set of analog only stereo audio connections. The system also processes whats known as Virtual Speakers, this mode expands the perceived surround sound field by giving the listener the impression that sound is coming from areas (height, wide, back) of the room where there are no physical speakers actually set up.
