The power of AirPlay makes your music listening experience more pleasing than ever. Pioneer Elite’s Music Tap System with AirPlay compatibility allows you to enjoy music wirelessly in potentially every room of your home, regardless of where the music is stored. Simply by being connected to the same Wi-Fi™ network, you can listen to music or audiobooks from any DLNA certified 1.5 compliant device, including your cell phone such as an Android, iPod®, Windows® 7 personal computer or tablet. The built-in Wi-Fi™ allows easy set-up. Just tap on the AirPlay icon, and choose a song for Music Tap to play your music wirelessly. The system also supports AirPlay-enabled apps like Pandora®, iheartradio and LastFm for a virtually endless playlist.
The Elite Music Tap AirPlay System, model X-SMC4-K, features a 2.5" LCD screen that is full-color display to view the album art covers, playlists and the song lyrics your hear playing.
Its also “Made for iPod and iPhone” certified, so you can effortlessly pop-out the integrated dock for traditional music playback and charging.Using iTunes, you can choose the AirPlay devices you want to stream music to and download Apple Remote from the app store to use your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to control it all. However, you may want to additionally download Pioneer's Air Jam App to share music and create playlists with up to 4 different Apple devices.
