Product Review: These are great speakers and the sound is unbeatable!! However, I'm surprised at the short length of the front speaker wires. You will probably have to splice a wire to get to the speaker opposite your woofer if your speaker connection is built in to the walls of your house. Was this review helpful to you? Yes/No

Coupled with my Denon 990 A/V receiver (highly recommended too), they fill the room with sound. Purchased floor stands for surround speakers and table top stands for L and R front speakers. Product Review: I used these speakers in what i thought was a smaller room and was a little disappointed with the quality of sound.I had a professinal set it up and we had a hard time getting the rear speakers to work come to find out I have a older pioneer receiver so the rear speakers will not work this may have something to do with the sound quality. what the maximum area size room for this home theater?

There is no limitation to the size of the room the Acoustimass® 10 Series IV will work in, some might be a little bigger than recommended. As far as distance from the front of the room to the listener, I'd try not to go much beyond 30 feet or so. You might look into getting a receiver that allows you to calibrate the speakers to sound best for your specific listening area.
