The Bose® Companion® 3 Series II multimedia speaker system delivers top-of-the-line stereo performance from all your computer entertainment. Enjoy striking clarity and depth from MP3, CD and streaming music sources—plus podcasts, DVDs and games. Updated 3-piece design features two desktop speakers with stands and a hideaway Acoustimass® module.

Bose Companion 3 speakers are designed to upgrade your listening experience with a richness of sound that may surprise you.

It starts with two stereo speakers with matching stands for superb performance and added desktop space. The small speakers deliver crisp highs for lifelike vocals and instruments. The compact Acoustimass® module handles lower notes and effects with resounding depth and fullness—yet hides easily under your desk.

Bose proprietary TrueSpace® stereo signal processing circuitry adds spaciousness and ambience that most conventional computer speakers cannot match. The entire acoustic package delivers the richness you want from your music, and the audio excitement you expect from movies and games.

Companion® 3 system also feature an easy-to-use, multi-function control pod, no bigger than a computer mouse. Speaker volume control, single-touch mute, headphone jack and an auxiliary input for an additional audio source are all within easy reach.

Compact Acoustimass® module

Product Review: What more needs to be said about Bose? It's an excellent product. The sound quality is unsurpassed. It's impossible to not be satisfied with these speakers. The work great quiet, all the way up to the loudest they go. No distortion. Your Electronic Warehouse had the best price I could find, and I had them 3 days after I purchased them. I saw other comments about the bass being too low, didn't have that problem at all. I turn the bass down below midlevel because it is so powerful. Service & Delivery Comments: Delivery was very quick. I had them much earlier then expected. The package arrived in perfect condition. Was this review helpful to you? Yes/No

Product Review: The Bose Companion 3 Series II Multimedia Speaker System is great for a general use computer system where you want excellent stereo music with rich full sound. I had purchased the Companion 5 System for my main system, which includes simulated 5.1 surround - great for movies and games, as well as music. On this secondary system I didn't need the surround, but I am still impressed at how full sounding the Companion 3 system is thanks to the "TrueSpace" technology. Setup was simple - just like any other 2.1 system, with the addition of the control pod which I love. The control pod is much easier to use than having the controls on one of the speakers, plus I like that the speakers look symetrical without the controls stuck on the front of one of them.

My only reservation on either system has been price, but you get what you pay for - a stylish, great sounding system! Service & Delivery Comments: Delivery was extremely prompt (free Second-Day Air), and system arrived in good condition, however could have been packaged in a seperate box to protect product box better. Product Q & A

Is this set of speakers compatible with most modern record players? I have a jensen 3-speed turntable with RCA line out jacks, and I was wondering if it will hook up to these speakers or if I would need a receiver or any other hookups to make it work. Thanks for your help!!
