BoseŽ Local Source Input/Output Cable Details

9-pin mini-DIN – 2 RCA

The Local Source cable is used to take the standard stereo RCA outputs from most A/V devices and convert this connection into something that conforms to the BPIS II wiring standards. A second Local Source cable is required at the SA-3 amplifier to re-convert this signal back into standard RCA connections again.

Product Review: very conveniant cable to allow hook up of a none bose amplified speaker to the bose lifestyle system. very easy to install and different lenghts are available also. only minor issue i have is that the quality of the cables werent really all that nice but other than that its a must for those that want to expand their lifestyle systems into other rooms. I want to get an audio output from a Bose 321 to send to a car stereo on my boat. Is there a way?

As far as YEW is aware - no, there is not a way to get audio output from a BoseŽ 321 to your boat's stereo system. Bose® is a proprietary system with no audio output except through the Bose® Bass Module. You need to contact Bose® Product and Technical Support Representatives at 877-210-3782. In order to provide you with the best possible service, please have the product nearby when you call. The office is open Mon-Fri from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM EST and Sat from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
