Product Review:
I gave this Bose system as a Christmas gift. It was perfect. It was not hard to find a spot for this unit to sit. The design fit well in all of the different rooms that I sat it in. It was not to big making it hard to find a spot for or to fragile making it appear cheaply made. Blends in well with style. The sound quality was excellent. The set up of the Bose speaker was extremely simple where any one can do it. If you can plug in an electrical cord then you have what it takes to make theses speakers work. It plays a very clear sound were you can hear each instrument played with out over powering the music with nothing but base sound. I have never heard any distortion from the speakers even when turned all the way up. These speakers also comes with a remote. The remote has great range. The most I tried was 35ft away and it operated the speakers fine. The remote is very simple to understand and use with plenty of room for finger placement for people with big hands. The con on these speakers is that my daughter has the Ipod player while I have a Sandisk Sansa player. My Sansa will not play on it. Since I bought this for my daughter she is very pleased and I am left needing to buy myself an Ipod now. I do have to mention that these speakers do have a jack built into the back of it to attach other players to it with use of a cable wire. I personally don't like having to buy or use any more cables to clutter up the appearance of this system but that is my preferance. Another feature that I really like is that this unit has a built in charger which keeps my daughters player ready to go at all times. I highly recommend these speakers to any one looking into buying a SoundDock Speaker.

I use the sounddock at home most often. Rare occasions it gets transported for use elsewhere. The sound quality is that which Bose is known for. Price is always a hinderance with Bose. I would have loved the portable dock, but was unwilling to put down the extra [$] for a battery.

Delivery was prompt and the product was in good condition. I was a bit concerned at first, after seeing the condition of the box it came in (smashed in corners and a couple holes).

This part for the Bose SoundDock Series II Digital Music System is not available online, though if you contact Bose® technical support group they can help order it for you. They can be reached at 877-210-3782 and are open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 10pm EST. Saturday 9am to 7pm.

If you have an iPod® or iPod Touch® with cover, you need to pop the inner tray out and make sure the Bose® SoundDock® Series II docking station is able to fully read the device. Otherwise, please contact Bose® Customer Service for assistance at 1-800-231-BOSE (2673).
