Product Review: I'm using this to round out the bottom end on otherwise excellent bookshelf-size speakers. It does a great job; deep (cleanly to 25 Hz), but still crisp and punchy. No legs on the front, so the lower edge rests on the floor and looks like something that fell off a truck. Putting it on a low pedestal improves the looks a lot. Was this review helpful to you? Product Review: Very impressed with the sound integration with the rest of my system*. More bass than expected from a 10" speaker. High power amp seems to be of high quality. Rubberized outer covering seems a little cheap compared to other designs that are made of veneer or solid wood... definetly a cost savings designed into the component.
Useful in a concrete area (basement) - with great definition. This is due to the subwoofer placement (front firing) and port (rear firing). Probably would not be as good for a down-firing unit. I am not sure how useful this type of sub would be on a main floor (i.e. wood/particle board floor) as a down-firing unit would more beneficial there.
Overall, a great piece of kit.
[Somewhat disappointed to learn that the sub is made in China; I would have prefered to buy a sub from an American, Canadian, or European manufacturer.]

Product Review: I've got this providing all the bass in my stereo system. She pounds with a foot pedal, synthesizer, or explosion and has enough power to make me wonder if the pictures will fall off the walls. Word of caution- buy a long enough cable. Product Review: I have this sub hooked up to my Sony digital receiver. My center, fronts, and rear are all Boston Acoustics so as you can tell I'm a big fan. So far the sub has been great and I have no complaints. Service & Delivery Comments: My delivery was very prompt and the sub was in excellent condition. Not one dent or scratch on the package. I was very impressed with FEDEX and very pleased with their service! I have a porch that expands across the front of my house so the driver hid the huge box behind our wicker rocking chair. He also covered the huge box with a large white bag to help hide it. You could tell he took time with my delivery and did not just drop it and run. Was this review helpful to you? Yes/No
