Product Review: I bought this to make it easier to swap out iPods since the primary unit for the multi-zone audio that the iPod attaches to is in the basement. I installed the "iPod interface" in the kitchen next to the phone jack and the "System interface" near the multi-zone receiver.
My only annoyance is that you have to supply power to the iPod socket to charge/power the iPod if you don't want to run the battery down. They do provide a method for powering the interface using hidden wiring, but that takes an electrician to wire up... the only other option is a power adapter that plugs into the face plate. Minor nuisance. Other than, works perfectly and doesn't look bad. Service & Delivery Comments: Delivery was right on time, everything arrived undamanged and sealed in its original packaging.
