High BL magnet structure with vented pole piece
1 inch Teteron tri-laminate tweeter housed in a precision adjustment mechanism
Custom perforated speaker baskets protect woofer from construction debris
Molded ABS baffle with anti-resonant wave bracing
BumpBack(TM) magnet for increased throw
Front-mounted bass and treble controls
Moisture-resistant construction
IR sensor knockout
Snap-in baffle assembly
Two-piece, no strip speaker terminal
Depth behind wall: 3-5/8 inch deep (assumes ½ inch drywall)


Frame/Grille

  • 100% aluminum grilles will not rust
  • Color-matched frame/grille
  • Microperf grill hides speaker components from view
  • Frame mates with bracket to securely clamp sheetrock


Bracket

  • Includes Quicksnap new construction wings
  • Scored wings for flexible placement between studs
  • Extra thin wings minimize sheetrock bulge
  • Four wire ties prevent losing wires in walls

HD5 requires 5 Series Bracket for installation.

HD5R includes everything required for installation.
