The Niles Audio MF2VF includes 2 tiny infrared (IR) flashers and 10 feet of connecting wire terminating in 3.5mm connector plus for easy installation. The transparent infrared light won't block signals from IR remotes used in your main room.

Well, that depends on what you are trying to control - the Bose® system itself or out of the Bose® system to control something else. Bose® does make a part to that will work with the Niles Audio MF2VF Dual IR MicroFlasher though; part number is a 260335 IR Emitter. YEW does not offer this item, so you do have to order directly from Bose® sales at 1-800-379-2073.
