Great Picture, But TV Died.

Product Review: The panel is set up with a full 7.1 surround sound system. I use the panel to watch sports events and movies. Thats why I did not want an LCD panel. The picture quality is incredible, but it just died while watching a baseball game. The panel just went completley dark. The sleep mode setting was set to off, so I knew it wasn't that. I unplugged the panel and waited approx. 20 minutes and plugged it back in. It did not show a picture, but the front indicator light went from red, to blue and then back to red and would flash a series of eight flashes. The Geek Squad has been notified. I am disapointed to say the least, because we bought this plasma in Feb 2009 (along with a four year warranty). I hope it can be fixed? But even if it is, I will always have a reliability issue in the back of my mind. I have a 32" Mitsubishi tube TV I bought in 1993, and it is still working great! I hope this plasma can operate just a portion of that time (if it can be fixed)! Was this review helpful to you? Yes/No
