I am a loyal fan of Yamaha systems (2 ch stereo and one 5.1 AV system) and have been since 1985. I believe Yamaha products stand with the best; however, their new 7.1 AV system features can be overwhelming for novices. I love Yamaha products because you get space-age, top-notch technology at a reasonable price, especially in their medium price units. And boy do the systems deliver!!! If you're up to the tasks and challenges some units demand, check one of them out. You will never be disappointed in terms of durability and performance!!! Trust me. I highly recommend this unit.
