Yamaha YST-SW215 Subwoofer Details
The YST-SW215 is designed to match Yamaha Home Theatre Speaker Systems. They feature Advanced YST, QD-Bass technology and BASS (Bass Action Selector System) switch.
Powerful Bass Response
In addition to a powerful amplifier, this subwoofer uses two exclusive Yamaha technologies that deliver outstanding bass response. Advanced YST has been used in many Yamaha speakers and has proven to be an efficient and reliable system. It decreases impedance so the speaker has a more linear motion, which results in optimum sound pressure levels. QD-Bass is a newer technology that uses down-firing drivers to radiate the bass sound more efficiently. It was originally developed for our top-line subwoofers.
High Power Amplification
The YST-SW215 is capable of delivering 150W of dynamic power, still plenty for high
quality home theatre systems.
Easy Operation
This subwoofer has controls conveniently positioned on the front panel, so you don’t have to reach around the back or the side. Front panel controls include a BASS switch, a Standby mode on/off switch, the main volume and the adjustable high cut filter. There are also two LEDs,
red for power on and green for standby mode.
Environmentally Friendly
Internal parts and circuit boards do not contain lead, which is often used in other subwoofer brands, and is harmful to the environment. This model also has a low-power standby mode,
in which power consumption is only 0.5W.
