YPAO Sound Optimization with Quick Start

Yamaha’s YPAO Sound Optimization system analyzes the acoustics of the room and adjusts various speaker parameters to provide optimum sound quality at the listening position — in less than three minutes! A new Quick Start function displays the YPAO Auto Setup menu when the microphone jack is inserted, so Start can be immediately selected. Six YPAO settings can be memorized.

Product Review: I use my system for home theater stacked with a Sony Blue Ray, A 1080p 50" Pioneer Elite with a 250 watt sub and in wall Boston Acoustic speakers, I must say it sounds SICK .I also use it for music at my pool. My room is small so I did nopt need 7 speakers so I used the channel out side,,,,,It kicks when you are outside also ,,,,very happy withthe investment,,,My only draw back was setting up speakers the mic cord was short because my system is wireless and components are in a seperate room I had to make a small hole in wall to get the mic to reach to center of media room Was this review helpful to you?
