The new Yamaha RX-V673 AV Receiver boasts 7.2 channel surround sound support, which adds two side-facing speakers to the standard 5.1 channel setup for superior audio positioning. This receiver features Expand Apple® connectivity with AirPlay® and versatile USB input for iPad, along with Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) streaming capabilities through an in-built Wi-Fi connection. The RX-V673 supports 3D pass-through on its six HDMI ports, as well as the new 4K high-definition standard so you can enjoy ECO mode today and 4k video upscaling for next generation super-high resolution displays. This receiver can be controlled through the included remote or via dedicated apps for iphone, iPod Touch and the iPad, which provide complete control over the device’s various functions. A front-mounted USB port also provides charging support for portable electronics.
